Course Overview

Trainees are equipped with skills, knowledge and attitudes that will enable the craftsman to:

  • Effectively perform tasks in electrical installations
  • Perform electrical maintenance and faulty diagnosis
  • Work in telecommunications and electronics industry.
  • Prepare for further training (career progression)

Minimum qualification is a mean grade of D (PLAIN) and above in KCSE or pass in relevant Artisan Course. To excel with ease in this field(s), science (physics & chemistry) and mathematics techniques are used in solving electrical problems in daily basis. The course is modular and has a total of two modules (1-year course).

Exam Body: KNEC

Duration: 1 Year

Requirements: D (Plain) – Maths & Phys D.
