History and Background Information
Eldoret Technical Training Institute (ETTI) was started in the year 2009. It was accredited in 2011 by ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MOHEST) (MOHEST PC/1692/011. It was also licensed in 2016 under the TVET Act 2013.
Since then, the Board of directors, management, staff and students have collectively embarked on a transformative journey aiming at placing ETTI as a strategic player in National development, and an academia center of Excellence with special attention in soil development and Agriculture. Aware of our motto as ideology for betterment of humanity we have endeavored to ensure not only prudent management of resources at our disposal but also the highest quality of service delivery to our clients and all stakeholders.

Application Procedure: How to Apply for Courses at Eldoret TTI
To apply for courses at Eldoret Technical Training Institute, you can submit your application online through this link. Then follow the following steps to apply for your preferred course.
- Provide your KCSE index number and year on the link above
- If you Don’t remember index number, input 999
- If Year Not Listed, Select 2009, and Index, input 999
- If Index Not Found, input 999
- Choose the course you want to pursue
- Download your Admission Letter
You can also apply for a course at Eldoret TTI through the KUCCPS students’ portal when it is open for course applications.
Students can also apply for a course in the institute by sending SMS with their Name, Address, Course, and Grade to: 0725 818 644.
Admission Requirements
The requirements differ for each course, but most courses follow the following standard admission requirements
- For diploma, requirement is C- and above for most courses
- For Certificate courses, a minimum of D+ is required
- A minimum of D- is needed for artisan courses
Students should submit their passport photo, copy of ID, and high school certificates when applying for a course at Eldoret TTI.
