Background Information

Emining Technical Training Institute (Emining TTI) is a TVET college located in Emining town, Mogotio Sub-County, Baringo County, on the Nakuru Marigat road. The institute was inaugurated in 2011 by the then Mogotio Constituency MP Dr. Hellen Sambili and officially opened in December 2012. Emining TTI enrolled its first group of students in 2013, who were admitted to take various diploma, certificate and artisan courses. Initially, Emining Technical Training Institute was a constituent College of RVTTI, Eldoret. It has been approved by the Technical and Vocational Education and Education Authority (TVETA) and the Ministry of Higher Education. Its primary focus is engineering, especially mechanics and mechanical engineering. Emining TTI is now an independent TVET institute with a good community network, innovation and technology, and a desirable learning environment.

Emining Technical Training Institute Admission Requirements

To apply for a diploma course at Emining TTI, you should have scored at least a C- in KCSE. You should also provide your KCSE Certificate or results to be admitted, and you should also have a copy of ID or birth certificate and passport size photos.

For a certificate course, you are required to have a D in KCSE or higher for some courses. The list of courses and qualification requirements are obtained from the institution’s offices.

Emining Technical Training Institute Application forms

Admissions to Emining TTI are done in January, May and September intakes. Interested candidates can pick application forms from the college offices, fill them, and return to the institution.

Students can also apply for a course at Emining TTI by clicking into KUCCPS portal and enter your KCSE index number and year of graduation, and enter KCPE index number as password.

Then go to institutions, then select Emining Technical Training Institute. Check the list of courses and add them to Cart, and go back to dashboard and apply for the courses you have chosen. You will receive communication from KUCCPS regarding the progress of your application through the KUCCPS portal.
