Background Information

Emsos Technical and Vocational College (Emsos TVC) is a TVET college located in Chesumwo, Nandi County. Like other Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, Emsos TVC offers diploma, certificate and craft courses in various disciplines.

The institute has been approved by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), and registered under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act of 2013.

The development of Emsos Technical and Vocational College began with the construction of the institution in 2016 under the stewardship and mentorship of Kaiboi Technical Training Institute.

The current principal of Emsos TVC is Mrs. Sawe Gertrude, who took over from the first principal of the college, Mr. Wilson Kimugul.

Emsos TVC began its operations in 2019, registering its first group of 50 students and 5 staff members. As of 2020, the institution accommodates over 200 students.

There are three intakes in Emsos Technical and Vocational College per year: January, May and September. The primary focus of the institute is agricultural training, value addition, and extension services.

Attach Copies of Certificates and send to the above address. The institution will review, and if you qualify, you will be contacted by email or phone.

You can also apply for a course at Emsos TVC through KUCCPS. To do so, wait for the Placement Service to open their system and then log in to student portal on KUCCPS portal. Choose your course and pay the application fee. You will be notified if you qualify.
