Background Information

Gatanga Technical and Vocational College (Gatanga TVC) is a public technical and vocational training institute located in Gatanga constituency, Central Kenya, 26 kilometers from Thika Town along Gatanga-Ndakaini road.

The construction of Gatanga TVC was completed in 2017 and was funded by the National Government through the National Constituency Development fund of Gatanga Constituency. This was motivated by the government’s programme to construct at least one TVET college per constituency in order to meet the required skill needs for industrialization.

Gatanga TVC focuses on mechanical engineering, ICT and electric engineering. However, the institute offers other courses such as craft and in plumbing and hairdressing. Gatanga Technical and Vocational College also offers KASNEB courses.

Gatanga TVC Online Application

To apply for a course at Gatanga TVC, you need to apply either through KUCCPS or through the institution’s website.

For KUCCPS application, students are required to entire the KUCCPS website and log in using their KCSE and KCPE index numbers.
