Background Information

Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) is an institution mandated to offer training, administer examinations, offer research and consultancy services in the wider water sector. Kenya Water Institute is a Semi-Autonomous Government Agency (SAGA) established through Kenya Water Institute Act. The College has campuses in Nairobi, Tharaka Nithi, Kitui and Kisumu.

Admission Requirements

KEWI offers Diploma and Certificate courses and the entry requirements are as follows:

  • Diploma courses the minimum entry requirements are an average C- in KCSE or a division II in KCE. Those with C- or Credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Science will have an added advantage.
  • Certificate courses the minimum entry requirements are an average D+ in KCSE or a division III in KCE. Those with D+ or Credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Science will have an added advantage.
  • Artisan courses are open ended.

You can also apply via KUCCPS student’s portal accessible through KUCCPS website by using your KCSE and KCPE index number as username and password, respectively. KUCCPS sets an application window within which students can submit their applications.

To get the KUCCPS admission letter go to KUCCPS student’s portal, log in with your application details i.e., username and password. Navigate to the admission letter section to download and print your KUCCPS admission letter.
