Admission Requirements

Lukenya University admission requirements vary according to the course you want to apply. Below are the requirements for different program levels.

Certificate Courses

Applicants must possess a minimum of grade D (Plain) in KCSE or its equivalent. Upon successful completion of the Certificate programme, a student can continue up to the Lukenya University Diploma programmes.

Diploma Courses

The minimum requirement for entry into Lukenya diploma programme is a C- (minus) in KCSE or a Principal Pass in A level, or a recognized certificate or 4 credits in GCE, or their equivalent qualifications.

Undergraduate Courses

To join Lakenya’s Bachelor’s programme a candidate needs a C+ (plus) and above in KCSE or, 5 Credits in IGCSE; or 2 Principal passes in ‘A’ level or Division 2 in GCE or 50% from other countries using percentages; or a recognized diploma, CPA (K) entry to commerce degree.

Postgraduate Courses

To pursue a master’s degree at Lukenya University an applicant is required to have of a bachelor’s degree with at least Upper Second-Class honors in any discipline or its equivalent from a recognized institution. OR Lower Second-Class honors with two (2) years relevant experience in a relevant field.

Application Process

To join Lukenya University you can apply online, download the application form or apply for placement by KUCCPS.

To apply online visit the Lukenya University official website at www.lukenyauniversity.ac.ke and click on the online application tab https://lukenyauniversity.ac.ke/university-application/ and submit your application after filling in all the requirements.

To download the application form, visit their website and go to downloads section, download and print then send the dully filled form to Registrar office, Lukenya University, P.O. Box 619-00204, Athi River or P.O. Box 90-90128, Mtito Andei.

You can also apply via KUCCPS student’s portal accessible through KUCCPS website www.kuccps.ac.ke by using your KCSE and KCPE index number as username and password, respectively. KUCCPS sets an application window within which students can submit their applications.

KUCCPS Admission Letters

Government sponsored students who applied for placement via KUCCPS will receive their admission letters via the email address registered during application process.
