Admission Requirements

Undergraduate programmes require the following minimum entry requirements:

• KCSE mean grade of C+
• IGCSE 5 upper-level passes
• 5 ‘O’ level passes with C and above in GCE
• Principal C at A level or GPA of 2.5 in 12^th grade
• 2 principal passes in KACE.
• Diploma or a professional qualification from a recognized institution or examining body.

Diploma Programmes require:

• KCSE mean grade of C-
• Certificate from a recognized institution
• KCE Div III
• Professional qualification from a recognized examination body.
• 3 upper-level passes in IGCSE
• Bridging certificate from a recognized institution.

Certificate Programmes require a minimum mean grade of D+ while artisan courses are open ended.

Applicants who want to join Pioneer International University as self-sponsored students can apply online through their website. Click https://piu.ac.ke/enroll/ and fill the application form then submit your application online.

Application form can also be obtained at the University’s admission office or be downloaded here https://www.piu.ac.ke/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/APPLICATION-FORM-290916.pdf . Duly completed forms shall be accompanied by certified documents and returned to the admissions office.

Those who are joining through the government-sponsored programme can apply for admission through the KUCCPS website. Go to www.kuccps.ac.ke and navigate to the students’ portal then log in using your KCSE index number as username and KCPE index number as password, select Pioneer International University as your preferred institution then continue filling the rest of the form.
