Railway Training Institute is one of the oldest training institutions in the East African region dating back to the colonial era. The institute was set up to meet the increasing demand for skilled workforce required to manage the East African railways and harbors. The institution offers practical and quality training in Transport and logistics responsive to a dynamic market environment through Research and Technology.
Admission Requirements
Higher Diploma: Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
Diploma in Business: KCSE mean grade C- or Certificate in relevant discipline.
Certificate Courses: KCSE mean grade D plain or Certificate in a relevant discipline.
Artisan Courses are open-ended.

Application Process
To join Railway Training Institute visit the institution’s official website at www.rti.ac.ke the navigate to the download’s section at https://www.rti.ac.ke/media/downloads/ and download the application form. The duly filled form should be mailed to admissions@rti.ac.ke together with the copies of required documents and non-refundable fee of KES 1000.
You can apply for admission online though the college website at https://www.rti.ac.ke/apply/ , fill the application form attaching all the necessary documents and submit.
Application can also be done through KUCCPS students’ portal accessible via www.kuccps.ac.ke . Go to student portal section then log in using KCSE index number as username and KCPE index number as password. Select Railway Training Institute then complete filling the form then submit.
